Zero Carbon Industry Research Institute

Zero Carbon Industry Research Institute is an international organization for the purpose of creating a global community to encourage research and partnerships in the field of Zero emission science and technology.

The Government of Canada launched the Net-Zero Challenge to encourage businesses operating in Canada to develop and implement credible and effective plans to transition their facilities and operations to net-zero emissions by 2050 .

We focus on zero carbon energy(Ocean energy, Solar ,wind,Hydropower and other renewable energy), zero carbon buildings, zero emission industries.

Zero Carbon Energy Sources

Zero carbon means that no carbon emissions are being produced from a product or service (for example, a wind farm generating electricity, or a battery deploying electricity).

Hydrogen and synthetic non-carbon fuels (ammonia), as well as battery power derived from zero- carbon electricity based on solar, wind, hydro or nuclear power are some of the options for reducing GHG emissions, which could be considered (effectively) zero carbon.

The “zero carbon energy sources” phrase is intended to be inclusive of fuels derived from zero carbon electricity, biomass and the use of CCS, but not of CCU derived energy sources based on the combustion of fossil fuels.

International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science

On March 2, 2020, Dr. M. Stanley Whittingham, Honorary Chairman of IAOEES, 2019 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry for the Invention of Li-ion Battery, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry & Director of the Institute for Materials Research and the Materials Science and Engineering Program, Binghamton University (State University of New York), met with Prof. Joey Jung, IAOEES’ Co-Founder and Vice President of Finance, at a special event at PDAC 2020 in Toronto, ON, Canada

This eventwas hosted by Miller Thompson LLP and G&W Inc. The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) is a premier international mining convention that attracts over 25,000 attendees from 135 countries every year. This special event was dedicated to lithium ion battery materials & rare-earth elements supply chains.
